Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation:
Age: - Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together shall be 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates.
English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.
Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.
Colour Blind candidates are eligible provided that colour corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board constituted by the Government Medical College or the District CMO.
Married candidates are also eligible.
NOTE: Simultaneous attendance in other courses is not permitted. It will be applicable to all the above courses.
Admission Procedure
Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) will be conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow.

GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery)
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation:
Minimum education eligibility criteria for admission to GNM:
10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognised board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognised by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognised by Central Government. However, Science is preferable. Three (core elective) subject marks may be taken for calculating the percentage of marks excluding the marks in English. Also, it has to be ensured that the candidate has pass marks in English.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational stream- healthcare science from a recognised CBSE board/State/Centre.
Registered ANM with passing marks.
Student should be medically fit. (For disabled candidates with a disability of loco-motor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to qualification will be same as prescribed for their category candidates.)
Admission Process
Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET) will be conducted by Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty, Lucknow and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University, Lucknow.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation:
The minimum educational requirements shall be 10 + 2 in Arts (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Science, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health care Science - Vocational stream ONLY passing out from recognized Board.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognised by Indian Nursing Council.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational stream- healthcare science from a recognised CBSE board/State/Centre.
There is no maximum age for admission.
Student shall be medically fit.
Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination conducted by National Institute of Open School.
Student shall be admitted once in a year.
