Institutional Rules & Regulations

Guidelines for students to maintain discipline and academic integrity

Regular Attendance is Mandatory (Theory minimum 80% and Clinical 100% required)
Students must carry their identity cards at all times within the campus
Punctuality must be observed for all classes and clinical postings
Proper uniform must be worn as prescribed for theory and practical classes
Use of mobile phones in classrooms and clinical areas is prohibited
Damage to college property will result in disciplinary action and fine
Ragging is strictly prohibited and punishable by law

Students must complete all assignments and projects on time
Internal assessments are compulsory for appearing in university exams
Malpractice during examinations will lead to severe disciplinary action
Library books must be returned on or before due date
Clinical postings are mandatory and attendance will be strictly monitored
Students must maintain log books for practical training

Hostel gates will be closed by 7:00 PM (winter) / 7:30 PM (summer)
Night out permission must be obtained in advance from warden
Visitors are allowed only in common areas during visiting hours
Students must maintain cleanliness in their rooms and common areas
Use of electrical appliances like heaters, irons etc. is prohibited
Any damage to hostel property must be reported immediately

Students must carry hall ticket for all examinations
No electronic devices allowed in examination hall
Students must reach examination center 30 minutes before commencement
Any form of malpractice will lead to cancellation of examination
Answer scripts must be handled carefully and submitted before leaving
Revaluation and photocopy applications must be submitted within stipulated time

Students must maintain professional decorum at all times
Respect must be shown to faculty, staff and fellow students
Any form of discrimination or harassment is strictly prohibited
Students must uphold the reputation of the institution
Participation in college activities is encouraged
Use of tobacco, alcohol or drugs on campus is strictly forbidden

Penalties for Violations

Violation	Possible Action
Low Attendance	Barred from appearing in examinations
Improper Uniform	Warning/Fine/Suspension from class
Damage to Property	Fine and/or disciplinary action
Misbehavior	Suspension/Expulsion depending on severity
Examination Malpractice	Cancellation of examination/Expulsion
Ragging	Immediate expulsion and legal action
