Department Aims

The Child Health Nursing department aims to:

• Assist students in developing expertise and in-depth understanding in pediatric nursing.
• Help students appreciate the child as a holistic individual and develop skills to function as pediatric nurses.
• Enable students to function as educators, managers, and researchers in child health nursing.

Program Objectives

Upon completion of the Child Health Nursing program, students will be able to:

• Acquire essential knowledge in pediatric nursing.
• Address the emerging healthcare needs of the country while maintaining global standards.
• Deliver holistic care to children using a family-centered approach.
• Train as neonatal and pediatric nurse specialists.
